Sense of Place

The concept of a sense of place is deep and complex, affecting how one understands and perceives the world. This project explores how the inherently subjective and personal experiences of a sense of place, can be effectively captured and represented through maps and the mapping process. Given that one’s sense of place is shaped by their unique emotions, memories, and experiences, the challenge lies in translating these highly personal experiences into mapping prototypes that allow each person’s sense of place to become visible or perceiveable.
