A Walk in the Park Survey
Memory, Experience and Reflection
The data from the survey, A Walk in the Park, was used to inform a series of mapping prototypes that delved into the evolving field of Emotional Cartography, exploring how emotions can be captured and conveyed throughout different stages of the mapping process to bring depth and meaning to places. The result is a series of emotion maps that revealed and synthesised the different participants’ emotions in the Edinburgh Gardens, both individually and as a collective.
