The Interdisciplinary Model of Creative Practice (IMCP)

This study involved recording and reflecting on the mapping journey over the course of a year, leading to the development of the Interdisciplinary Model of Creative Practice (IMCP). This chapter provides a description of a framework for the mapping process that was fundamental in the making of the mapping prototypes. The IMCP was used as a method of data collection, to collate, organise and make sense of the data, through documenting the creative mapping process.

The concept of ‘macro’ and ‘micro’ points of view were introduced, which presents this process through a more nuanced, detailed view or zoomed out for a holistic, overarching view of the creative process.
